Subtraction is really Addition

There is nothing magical about Subtraction, it is a form of Addition. It is the Addition of the opposite of the subtrahend to the minuend. The result is the same as the difference between the number.
Minuend: The first number in a subtraction. The number from which another number (the Subtrahend) is to be subtracted. Subtrahend: The number that is to be subtracted. The second number in a subtraction. Difference: The result of subtracting one number from another. How much one number differs from another. Minuend - Subtrahend = Difference
