Soto's Penetrables
Between 1967 an 1997 Soto investigate, as he said frequently, the ways of share his work with
the people in the exhibition of his works. The series of works entitled by "Penetrables" consist
in plastic or metal cords hanging from grids which the spectator must traverse. The first Soto's
"Penetrable" to also project a virtual volume is the one greeting viewers at the Jeu de Paume
exhibition in 1997.
