Pricing & Services

GeoGebra provides partners with two core service models (see Licensee Options for details) , namely:
  • Supporting Software
  • Dynamic & Static Materials.
To keep things simple and ensure GeoGebra pricing aligns with the budgets and needs of all our partners, from early start-up to established global providers, the license fees is calculated based on our partners specific use and needs, using a simple formula: License Fee = Partner end-users (e.g., products you provide to your end users) x Rate The benefits of this model include:
  • No barriers to start-ups and companies with smaller turnovers or userbase
  • License fees scale with partner growth and value-added arising from GeoGebra services
  • You only pay for what you use
Supporting Software The Rate for Supporting Software is calculated using an Incremental Pricing Model in combination with a Regional Pricing Adjustment Matrix. Incremental Pricing Model (USD$) Our incremental pricing model ensures that we can keep license fees low as our partners' expand their GeoGebra supported services. As you increase sales of your products, we reduce the Rate for calculating the License Fee. The per unit/user costs decreases with volume, providing cost savings as our partners services scale over time, with an opportunity to achieve an average base rate of $0.20 per end user (i.e., end users using your products and services that include GeoGebra).  The starting Rate varies by region. from as little as $0.35 in our Growth 2 Region to $2.10 in the Core 1 Region. Higher end per end-user rates rarely apply, as per end-user rate comes down quickly with volume of end users. We have a number of Special Reduced Rates Programs to help reduce costs for start-ups and entrepreneurs, and even for established partners who may be just getting started with GeoGebra and digital technologies in education services. Regional Pricing Adjustment Matrix We use a regional pricing adjustment matrix in combination with our incremental pricing model to adjust license fees such that they are aligned with regional markets and price-points. Regional adjustment factors range between 0.6 and 0.1 across 5 regional categories, identified as Core or Growth regions:
  • Core Regions: 1, 2, and 3
  • Growth Regions: 1 and 2
Dynamic & Static Materials On some occasions our partners simply want to have the option to include dynamic applets and static images in their products and services, without the need for their end users to use GeoGebra software or web services directly. As our entry-level product we try to keep both the costs and administrative overheads of our Dynamic and Static Materials service to a minimum by applying a single, standard base-rate of $0.20 per end user.
Estimating License Fees We provide our partners with a Pricing Calculator to estimate annual license fees by region, quickly and easily.  Contact us at office@geogebra.org to request the Pricing Calculator or to receive an estimate.
