Methodology

The research method adopted for this study is mixed methods. Quantitative data (NSC results) was sourced from national department of education and from the participating school. This data was analysed using box-whisker plots on Geogebra. Qualitative data was sourced by administering a question where participants were asked to reflect on the workshop. Their common responses were categorised into attributes. The frequency of each attribute was recorded and summarised on frequency tables.
