Function Transformations

Each slider performs a transformation on the parent function.
1) Explain how each slider affects the function.
2) Change the exponent to 3, place a=1 a1=1, h=0, and k=0 to create the parent function . Move each slider to see if your explanations for #1 are correct. Revise as necessary.
3) Follow #2, but change the exponent to -1.5.
4) Explain the transformations that would occur to the parent function to create the transformed function . Check your explanation using the sliders.
