Graphing sine using transformations

Author:
Matt James
Topic:
Sine, Geometric Transformations
Drag the four values a, w, h, and k to see how the graph of the sine curve changes. Clicking the checkbox will show visually on the graph where the values occur (note that "w" is shown through its relationship with the period and by counting how many period it goes through in the first 2π). If you right click on the axes you can turn them off along with the grid.
