Geometry
Geometry is the study of earth (geo) measurement (metry). When we study geometry, we have three concepts that are used for all definitions. These concepts must be accepted without definition. These concepts can be described, but there in no formal definition of any of them. These terms are point, line, and plane. When you click on the Instructions check box, the instructions will disappear and you will be able to view each concept separately by clicking the check box for each concept to view the description of each. Move the slider to change each graphic slightly to help understand the concept.
