Equivalent Fractions Bar Model

This applet allows the user to model equivalent fractions with a bar model. For example, when initially loaded, the model shows that 3/5 = 18/30. The sliders can be used to control the number of horizontal or vertical slices (per equal piece), and these slices can be hidden or unhidden with the check boxes. Be sure to only enter whole numbers for the numerator and denominator, otherwise the construction will not make sense.
