Bisect a Segment

Using the tools given, bisect the given segment. Use the "Distance or Length" tool to show that the two new segments are equal to half of the length of the full segment and equal to each other.
After you finish bisecting the segment think about the following questions and write them on a separate piece of paper. Write in complete sentences. Question 1: What does perpendicular mean? Question 2: how you would create a segment perpendicular to any point on the line? Question 3:What does a compass do? After you complete these questions discuss them with a partner. How are your answers similar and/or different? Write down your thoughts.
