Given a regular pentagon , draw the lines of symmetry.
- First, draw the pentagon and label the vertices.
- Extend a line from vertex to the midpoint of the opposite side.
- Now move to the next vertex, , and extend a line to the midpoint of the opposite side.
- Continue around to each vertex, extending a line from the vertex to the midpoint of the opposing line segment.
