I chose a point A(0,5) to axis y and I chose the length of the segment AB : 8 cm and
So, I made the points A, B and the segment AB.
Then I drew perpendicular lines and parallel, so I made the points C, D and the rectangular ABCD.
Then I made the midpoints of the segments AB, BC, CD, AD.
Then I made a second rectangular polygon inside.
So, they were formed 4 right angles, in total 6 polygons.
Then I putted the colors, green and yellow.
The construction is ideal for Mathematicians Flag, because it has right triangles characteristic of Pythagoras, a very important scientist of Mathematics.
The colors are ideal too, because the green means the nature , that Math comes from, and the yellow the light that Math brings to all the sciences.
