A rotation is when a figure is turned at any angle around the center of rotation.
Rotations are performed in a counterclockwise direction.
Rotations are able to be rotated from any center point but the most common is using the origin as the center of rotation.
- Dilations
A dilation is when a figure changes size.
The new figure can be an Enlargement or a Reduction depending on the scale factor.
Dilations are always found according to a certain point which is the origin for us.
A scale factor is what helps us find out the change of size of the figure.
