Planet Phases Part 1
While in the first applet the planet showed no phases, we now come to a more realistic view. Especially the inner planets Mercury and Venus show phases similar to the moon. These phases are illustrated here. But while the moon doesn't change size much, Venus for example can vary in size significantly. Modify the orbit radius and observe phase and size change here.
