Step 7: Coloring Our Tessellation

This step has several smaller steps. Please follow in order! 1. Select your Polygon tool. Outline the shape of the star in the middle, creating a new complete star shape. 2. Right click the star shape, click "Object Properties". Change the color of the star to something you want it to be. I chose yellow for this project. Move the opacity bar if you want a stronger (not so see-through) color of a star. 3. Make sure your Polygon tool is still highlighted. Create the "rays" coming out from the star individually. You can make them all different colors, but I chose blue and green. At the end, make sure all labels, points, etc, are hidden so that it doesn't clutter your design. To do this, go to the "Object Properties" screen (right click). Select "Point", check the box that says "Show Label" and "Show Object", so that everything is showing. Then check them both off to make sure nothing is showing. See figure below for reference. Once you complete this, move on to the next and final parts!
