The course Digital Media I

The course Digital Midia I, the first one to be followed by teachers, has focus on the use of GeoGebra. Different tasks are proposed to teachers, to be solved weekly, during two months.
The first aim is the understanding of dynamic geometric figures and the explorations of geometric properties using the invariance of a given construction.
The second aim is to explore activities that integrate geometry and algebra. Two of those activities are "design surprise" and "geometric function".
Each course of the program MMDD has a website. As shown in the Digital Midia I website,in the left frame there are modules, each one divided in sub-menus:
- objective gives the main orientation
- contents presents the mathematical aspects
- activities are the tasks to be solved
- resources is about the media to be used with some tutorials
- additional material are new ideas to enhance the contents and media used
- Modulo I : dynamic figures
- Modulo II: geometric figures and properties
- Modulo III: quadrilaterals and diagonals
- Modulo IV: triangles and circunscribed and inscribed circles
- Modulo V: geometric transformations
- Modulo VI: surprise design
- Modulo VII: geometric function
