Walk the Plank

You have been captured by a bloodthirsty gang of pirates who have decided you are to walk the plank. However, the pirate captain decides to give you a chance to save yourself. Depending on the roll of the dice, you’ll have to either move forwards or backwards. If you go past -5 you will swim with the sharks, but if you go past +5 you are saved! Use your knowledge of directed numbers to move the red point according to the roll of the dice.
