How to use the Probability Calculator

What is the Probability Calculator?
The Probability Calculator allows you to graph and explore a variety of probability distributions. Just select your preferred distribution (e.g. Normal distribution, Binomial distribution) and customize it by adjusting the parameters.[br][br]Note: Each distribution has specific parameters you need to adjust (e.g. Normal distribution with mean [math]\mu[/math] and standard deviation [math]\sigma[/math]).

Statistics Calculator

The Statistics Calculator allows you to conduct a variety of statistical tests. [br]

Select the test you want to work with (e.g. Z Test of a Mean).[/*]
Specify your Null Hypothesis.[/*]
Specify your Alternative Hypothesis. [/*]
Adjust the parameters of your test in the provided text boxes.[/*]
[br]Note: The Statistics Calculator will automatically provide the results of your statistical test.

How to use the Probability Calculator Style Bar

The Probability Calculator Stylebar provides options to overlay your distribution with the Normal Curve and to export the graph of your distribution as a picture file (.png) and save it on your computer.[br][br]Task 1[br]Overlay the Logistic distribution with the Normal Curve.[br][br]

1.Select the Logistic distribution from the drop- down list below the diagram.[br]

2.[br][icon]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/4/48/Probability_calculator_normal_overlay.svg/180px-Probability_calculator_normal_overlay.svg.png[/icon][br]Overlay the Logistic distribution with the Normal Curve by clicking on the Overlay Normal Curve icon.

[br][br]Task 2[br]Export the graph of your distribution and save the file on your computer.[br][br]

1.Select the distribution you want and adjust the parameters.[br]

2.[icon]https://wiki.geogebra.org/uploads/thumb/5/51/Probability_calculator_export.svg/180px-Probability_calculator_export.svg.png[/icon]Click on the Export icon.
