- John Golden
This sketch was inspired by Geometry Daily #482 Dream Within a Dream http://bit.ly/Geom482 It features a spiral within a spiral. This sketch isn't perfect, but hast two ways of inscribing a spiral within a spiral. The first spiral is the red spiral, which does a constant turn, and exponentially shortening edges. The blue curve is another turning curve, which continues until it hits the red curve. The purple curve reflects off of the red curve, bouncing around the inside. Which effect do you like better? Can you think of another way to get this effect?
