Writing the Equation of a Parabola

All points are at integer coefficients. Enter the equation of the parabola in the inputbox. Use exact values (fractions). Rounded decimals will be incorrect. Enter equations in the form similar to y = (1/3) (x-3)(x+2) or y = (-1/2) (x-5)^2 + 8. Press 'Enter' when equation is complete in the inputbox. A 'Check Answer' button will appear. Click 'Show Solution' to view a worked solution. Click 'New Problem' for a new problem. 'Reset' will reset the counters and clear all answers. Type A problems show two x-intercepts and another point on the parabola. Type B problems show the vertex and another point on the parabola.
