First i made the line segment AB. Then i used the center of point tool and placed it on A to make a circle that went more than halfway across the ray. Then i used the compass to mark the points CA and then dragged the cirlcle to the center point B. Then you use the point tool to mark the intersection of the two circles top and bottom. Then i used the segment tool to connect points D and E where the circles intersected.
