GeoGebraMobile
The goal of this project is to make GeoGebra and applets run on mobile devices like smartphones or tablets. We are using the Google Web Toolkit ( GWT) to create a web application (HTML5/JavaScript) which will let GeoGebra run in a modern web browser both on computers as well on smartphones like the iPhone or Google's Android phones.
- Lead developer: Gábor Ancsin <gabor@…>
- Programmers: Julian Lettner <julian.lettner@…> as a GSoC2011 student, Árpád Fekete <arpad@…>, Judit Éliás <judit.elias@…> and Zbynek Konecny <zbynek@…>
- Testing and command line tools: Zoltán Kovács <zoltan@…>
Latest news (updated 2012-01-27)
- The project has been renamed to GeoGebraWeb. GeoGebraMobile still stands for the version obsoleted in September 2011.
- We work on unifying the codebase. This is a continuous process, but its state can be checked immediately at the autotest/GeoGebraWeb test page (TinyURL: http://tinyurl.com/ggbweb.) We appreciate your feedback on testing results on the Web/SupportedDevices. For more details please read the CookBook.
- Julian Lettner's latest "best working" version is here. This is no longer developed, but certain pieces of the code have been moved into the unified codebase. Currently the recent version of GeoGebraWeb already implements almost everything (and more) from Julian's version.
- Also, if a GeoGebraTube material is opened in a mobile browser (such Android and iPad/iPhone/iPod touch etc. has) it is done by GeoGebraWeb. But note, that some construction may not work at all. Please be patient and wait for the unified version (first half of 2012) to make the missing things work.
Examples
- Please check out our test cases at http://tinyurl.com/ggbweb/, as suggested above.
