Adjust the acceleration slider to change the steepness of the curve. Type in the time you wish to know the speed of the vehicle. Type in the change in time to draw the secant line. Use the red slider to bring in the average speed (secant line) as it approaches the instantaneous speed (tangent line). When the time change = 0 the tangent line will appear!
