Prefixxes and suffixes
A preffix is a a letter or group of letters added to the beginning of a word to make a new word that in the most of the cases is the opposit of the previous word.
For example preffix dis- in the word honest, dishonest that means the opposit of the original word.
Another example is the preffix un- in the word correct, uncorrect
A suffix is a a letter or group of letters added at the end of a word to make a new word.
For example sufixx -er that is used to turn verbs into nouns like the following word: paint-painter
