This is a manipulative sine function graph. You can change the amplitude, compress horizontally and control phase change and vertical translation by changing the values of the sliders.
Consider what happens to the period of the function when the "b" slider changes. How does the graph change when b increases? What happens when b decreases? What happens when the sign of a changes from negative to positive or vice-versa? What happens to the minimum and maximum of the function when |a| changes? What happens to the midline when the d coefficient changes? Does that impact anything else?
