geometricloci posted a pretty parametric design to tumblr that really piqued my curiosity. It had a round(sqrt(cos(cos(x)))) in it, for one thing! So... one morning shot later, this sketch. Play with the function, twiddle the phase, change the number of periods... So much variation is possible.
