Segment with given length from point
- Segment with given length from point
Action: Creates from zero to two points A and B and the line segment between them.
Notes:
- After placing the starting end-point a dialog box will appear in which the length is specified.
- If Cancel is selected the starting end-point is still created.
- The name of an existing variable may be used to specify the length.
- Any new points appear in the algebra window as free objects.
- The segment's length is displayed as a dependent object.
Tips:
- Holding down the mouse button while creating a point will display its coordinates, allowing you to position it precisely.
Equivalent Command: Segment[point A, number l]
