Syntax

  • Segment[point A, point B] - creates a line segment through points A and B
  • Segment[point A, number l] - creates a line segment starting at A with a length of l.


Notes

  • The length of the line segment will appear as a dependent object in the algebra window.
  • When using the 2nd form the unspecified end-point will be created as a free object.
  • When using the 2nd form the line segment will initially be horizontally oriented.
  • An object explicitly specified in the parameter list will NOT be created.
