GeoGebra Tools
From GeoGebraWiki
- For the French version of this page, see Outils
GeoGebra 3.0 introduced "user defined tools". This means you can create your own tools for the toolbar by taking an existing construction and specifying input and output objects of your new tool.
Let's start sharing our coolest GeoGebra Tools on this page!
Bezier Curves - two tools for quadratic and cubic Bezier curves
mosaicos10- Herramientas para construir mosaicos con polígonos regulares o con dardos y cometas de Penrose
Sólo teselas regulares
Sólo Penrose
Penrose con arcos de Conway
Ejemplo
Polynomials - two tools for quadratic and cubic (Langrange) interpolation polynomials by 3 resp. 4 points.
Be patient, rather slow performance with the cubic polynomial. ;-)
IsogonalConjugate(point,3 points of a triangle)
Create the Isogonal Conjugate of a point P with respect to a triangle ABC.
See the article in Mathworld or Wikipedia for the mapping's interesting properties.
FeuerbachCircle(A, B, C)
Create the Feuerbach Circle (nine-point-circle) of a triangle ABC including its centre, all nine points on it and the orthocentre.
Tangents to two circles
This tool constructs lines tangent to two circles. The theory behind it is explained here.
Complex numbers
Tools for Complex numbers, including multiplication, reciprocal, congugate and mobius transformation. (Addtion can be done by "A+B" etc. and so is not needed)
Square Difference
Tool to display/compute the square distance between a point and a line as used by a least squares regression.
Easy Table
Tool to create a x | f(x) table given a function, starting x value, ending x value, and step. The table will be created as a textbox. The table is limited to 99 rows (including the heading). To see a post on how the tool was created read this forum post
Tool to create a 'boxed' view of a function. The given function is (mathematically) clipped to a given rectangle. Just specify the function and the lower left and upper right vertices of the rectangle.
Triangle Tools
This is a useful tool in part translated from French. It has been added to and it includes basic tools for triangles including finding the orthocentre, centre of gravity, incentre and circumcentre. It will also construct medians, inscribed and circumscribed circles

Parabola(Vertex,Point) - Create a quadratic function out of vertex and another point on the parabola
