Angle Command
The Angle command has nine variants:
With "Options" "Angle unit" "Degree", angle is between 0 and 360° With "Options" "Angle unit" "Radians", angle is between 0 and 2pi
Angle[vector v1, vector v2] - Creates an Angle between two vectors v1 and v2
Note: The angle is marked by a sector and given a name α for example.
Angle[line g, line h] - Angle between the direction vectors of two lines (b and a gives angle α) or (d and c gives angle β) as shown
Note: The angle is marked by a sector and given a name α for example.
Angle[point B, point A, point C] - Angle enclosed by AB and AC .
Notes:
- Point A is the apex.
- The angle is marked by a sector and given a name α for example.
Angle[point B, point A, angle alpha] - Angle of size α drawn from point B with vertex A.
Notes:
- Point Rotate[B, alpha, A] is created too.
- The angle is marked by a sector and given a name α for example.
Angle[c] - Angle of twist of a conic section c's principle axis (see command Axes)
Note: Angle α is returned in the algebra window but not shown on the model.
Angle[vector v] - Angle between x-axis and vector v
Note: The angle is marked by a sector and given a name α for example.
Angle[point A] - Angle between x-axis and position vector of point A
Note: The angle is marked by a sector and given a name α for example.
Angle[number n] - Converts a number n into an angle
Angle[polygon poly] - All inner angles of a polygon
Notes:
- The angle of each vertex is marked by a sector and given a name for example α.
- Does not appear to work properly if a slider is used to define the polygon.
