Linear Midterm Question #4

Suppose triangle ABC and P inside the triangle are given. Assume A', B', C' is the midpoint of segments AP, BP, CP. Let G, G' be the centroid of triangles ABC and A'B'C'.

a) There is a simple relationship between G, G' and P. Move point P around inside triangle ABC and state the relationship in words (no vectors).

b) Prove the relationship between G, G' and P that is stated in part (a).
