In the sketch below, drag slider t and observe the trace of point C (which is the tip of vector w).

Pay attention to the light grey vectors ( (1-t)u and tv ), whose sum is vector w.

Look at the special cases: t=1, t=0, t=0.5.

Ctrl+F will erase the traces.
