Reflections and Rotations
Below is an original triangle at points (0,0), (3,0), and (0,4). How many isometries can you find to map the original to the transformed triangle at (1,0), (4,0), and (4,4)?
Move the line to change the reflection. Move the center and the slider r to change the rotation center and the rotation angle.
Use the reflect and rotate commands to double and triple rotations or reflections about these or new lines and points.
This problem comes from the Linear Algebra text, page 51 problem 7.2.1.7.
