Reflection of Medial Triangle

Triangle DEF is the medial triangle of Triangle ABC. Reflect both triangles over line l. Is the image of Triangle DEF still the medial triangle for the image of Triangle ABC? Is this true for any line or only true for the line y = x?

Can you construct an exact replica of the original triangles by reflecting only two segments of Triangle ABC?

Can you do the same by only reflecting two segments from Triangle DEF?
