Building parallelograms from quadrilaterals

Using only the tools available on the toolbar construct a parallelogram from any quadrilateral figure.
1. Start by plotting four arbitrary points.
2. Connect the points to form a quadrilateral
3. Plot points between each of the vertices

Questions:
o Where should the intermediate points be located? Why?
o What do you get when the intermediate points are connected?
