Given Points, Find Equations

In this worksheet you are given 3 sets of points. Each set is a different color. Meaning you will be studying three different equations.

1. Look at the purple points J and K. Compare the point values. How do they differ? Can you come up with a graph (equation) that will go through both points? Type that equation into the input field to check. Use m(x)!!

2. Look at the blue-green points E, F, G and H. Compare the point values. How do they differ? What must you do to the x-value in order to get to the y-value? Can you come up with a graph (equation) that will go through all four points? Type that equation into the input field to check. Use n(x)!!

3. Look at the orange points A, B, C and D. Compare the point values. How do they differ? What must you do to the x-value in order to get the y-value? Can you come up with a graph (equation) that will go through all four points? Type that equation into the input field to check. Use p(x)!!
